It’s time to bring back the age-old craft of writing personal letters!

What makes a great letter — one that someone would keep tied up with a ribbon in a box for decades? How can they be written to create a personal connection AND serve as an historical record?

Join local author, playwright, and book binder Olive Sullivan for a Letter Writing Workshop from 2 to 4 on May 5 at Root Coffeehouse in Downtown Pittsburg to learn!

She’ll guide you through making your own fancy stationery, your own lined envelopes, and using sealing wax for extra flair. She’ll coach you on how to pen the right kind of letter to suit several occasions. You’ll leave with a few letters ready to mail, inspiration, and more!

Cost: $45.
