About the event
All area typewriter owners are welcome, and so are those who are simply curious. Host: Jenifer Cooper, a visual artist and substitute teacher who moved to Pittsburg from Kansas City in 2020. She found her first vintage typewriter at a used bookshop in Lawrence in 2006, and soon had far too many. Currently she uses a 1930 Royal Portable Model P named Dorothy. There is no cost to attend, but those who plan to are asked to please RSVP so appropriate table space can be planned. , who grew up on typewriters and still owns two, and indicate whether you’re bringing a vintage or electric.Email Root owner Andra Stefanoni
